The first school to open in Chatham Park will be Thales Academy. Thales is working with Preston Development to bring the school here as soon as possible. The school will be located off of Thompson Street, east of Fire Tower Road.
The Thales Academy coming to Pittsboro will be a private K-12 school. Although the opening dates have changed over the years, the current plan is to open for classes in fall of 2020.
The most recent Thales Academy to open near Chatham County is in Apex and is 20 minutes from downtown Pittsboro. That location opened in 2015. Currently, multiple students from the area commute to Apex to attend this great school.
