Nursing homes all over the United States have been battling Coronavirus. It seems that if 1 person gets infected, the virus rapidly spreads throughout the community.
The Laurels is a nursing home in Pittsboro NC. Last week it became known that they had 4 people in the facility test positive for COVID-19. Since the virus spreads like wildfire, it didn’t take long for dozens more to become infected.
According to WRAL, 57 people at The Laurels have tested positive for Coronavirus as of April 10, 2020.
The Laurels is located at 72 Chatham Business Dr., Pittsboro NC 27312, which is in back of the Post Office off of East Street.
